Within The Wood provides fun, educational, hands on experiences within nature to people of all ages, with the aim to promote the holistic wellbeing of each individual. Let your children be wild at our popular Forest School sessions. Spend a celebration immersed in nature at one of our woodland parties. Try your hand at archery in a woodland setting. Joe Drury

Founder and Director

Founder of Within The Wood Joe opened his business to improve young peoples wellbeing through spending time in nature. After seeing what a profound effective nature had on his own wellbeing he knew he had to provide this for others. Joe loves foraging for wild food, archery and exploring wild spaces.

Director

Imi not only runs sessions, but also makes sure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly. Imi has a passion for all things small and creepy in nature and loves to train her best mate… Flynn the collie.

Lead Practitioner

You’ll see Annie alongside Joe running our amazing sessions. Her passion for nurturing young people in an outdoor environment is a key element to what makes Within The Wood. Annie loves to be out in nature and explore new woodlands.
